Perfect spot for a family getaway
I loved that I could get a cup of tea and a biscuit when I returned in the evening. The owners Jim and Heidi are friendly.
It wasn't inexpensive but worth every penny.

Everything was nice, had a really nice stay for holidays. The room was neat, with smoke detectors and wonderful views. I found the hotel's location stunning and tranquil, just next door to a farm, Lisburn and Ulster. Moreover, it was 2 km from The Ballance House.

Kilcreeny Lodge is beautiful, with fine countryside views and delicious breakfasts. The Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in distant rooms.

The scenic views are fine, and the dog-friendly atmosphere adds a nice touch for pet lovers. Breakfast offerings are generous with a variety of options.
Wi-Fi is a bit spotty in distant rooms, which can be frustrating if you need to stay connected. The rooms can feel on the smaller side, especially for those expecting more spacious accommodations. Accessing transportation can be tricky due to the lodge's rural location-definitely a good idea to have your own wheels or order a taxi well in advance. Some bathrooms lack extra amenities that could enhance the experience, and the noise from adjacent rooms can disrupt the otherwise peaceful vibe. Directional signage could be clearer to avoid confusion when arriving, especially in the dark.

I stayed in the Beautiful Triple Room and it was super comfy! The beds were great, and everything was super clean. Loved the big windows with pretty views of the fields. The wooden staircase and overall design of the lodge just added to the nice feel. Breakfast was fab too. Fresh and made when you want. Honestly, I can't wait to come back when it's for happier reasons!

Had a lovely experience here! The sun terrace was perfect for morning coffee, and the garden area was a peaceful retreat in the afternoon. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi can be a bit sketchy in some spots, but it won't ruin the good vibes! 😊
